Barberstock is designed to be easy to use. If you do not have a login and password, you can still browse all the libraries, video and stills, unless our clients have restricted some content. Simply select the library from the dropdown menu, and start browsing. To view a clip just move your cursor over the preview window, it will play the entire clip. To see a larger preview, and all the specific details of a clip, click the clip title text immediately below the small clip preview. You will be taken to a larger preview window. If you have a login and password, enter your information in the login/password fields and click the "Login" button.
Once you are on the Search page, you can use the pull-down menus to find a particular category of video, or merely navigate through the numbered pages to browse through the video library. To preview a clip, click on the thumbnail to navigate to the preview page.
The Preview page contains a Quicktime preview of the video. To download the a video clip, select the checkbox next to the format you would like to download (HD, NTSC, and PAL) and click the 'Add to Queue' button, which will take you to the "queue" if you are logged in. You can continue to add video clips (or multiple formats of the same clip) to your queue.
Your queue will contain information about your quota (how much data you are allowed to download) and the total file size of the videos you have selected to download. You can select which videos you want to download immediately (alternately, you can choose to keep the video clip in your queue for later download) and click download to begin the download. To change or add an additional format for download, click on the thumbnail to return to the Preview page where you can add additional formats. Once you have downloaded a clip, the clip will be added to your Download History, from which you can add your previously downloaded clips back to the Download Queue.
